For Safety's Sake

We would like to remind patrons that they must not stop or park in the turning lane in front of the Library.  Stopping here is illegal and creates a dangerous situation for everyone.  Stopping in the turning lane blocks the view of oncoming traffic for patrons exiting the parking lot and may result in an accident. The "Drop Off" area in the library's parking lot is a No Standing Zone designed for a quick stop to "drop off" a patron. It is not to return library materials.  Stopping here for more than a few seconds creates a dangerous bottleneck of vehicles that blocks the flow of traffic on Searingtown Road.

We would also like to remind patrons that the Handicapped Parking spaces are only for those patrons with the required permit.
